Columbus Day...
My first trip to Columbus, Ohio produced a day of LIVE firsts.
Here for a consulting client, I was a part of a live TV broadcast
that went out over the web.
It was pretty wild getting a call from my daughter on my voicemail
that my family at home in Charlotte was watching me
live on the web in Columbus...cool.
And after a great dinner at the Capitol Club (thanks Keith),
fellow speaker D.J. Harrington & I
drop in at the Ohio theater to experience
virtuoso violinist Itzhak Perlman LIVE!
When was your last LIVE day?
And how did you capture the experience?
Did you trust your memory, or did you commit to writing it down...
so you can replay it over and over as the weeks and years go by?
Take good notes on your life in a blank book...a JOURNAL!
For all the great "Columbus Days" in your life.
You'll be glad you did.
To Your Uncommon Success,
Michael

Michael,
Thank You! Your post about Columbus Day is right on the money. We are a Purple COWTOWN or uncommon city. I am a life long native and I am glad to know you enjoyed our fine town. We need more uncommon press.
Look forward to the book!
Hero,
Ditto. I am a new fan of your city. I love Columbus. We went out walking in the downtown area and everyone commented on the look & feel of the city. Clean & Cool...can't wait to go back.
Michael
