The 10 Million Dollar Car!

Hello San Diego. And a short drive up the coast for a cool event at the Marconi Auto Museum where I spoke to over 200 CEOs and leaders on Winning in Today's Economy (I got to ride in for my introduction in an open convertible). And what made it even cooler is that we were surrounded by some of the most amazing vehicles I've ever seen. Including the 1956 mint Cadillac on stage with me.

Old, new, street, track, collectibles, exotics and antiques. My favorites were several sleek Ferraris. And easily the best story there was a 10 million dollar F1 Ferrari! Yep that's not a misprint: $10 million! At least that's the going offer. It was custom made for a sheik who's kingdom later decided they had just a few too many exotic cars and sold this one to the museum. Marconi was later offered the "big check" but responded to the offer by saying "we're not in the car-selling business were in the car collecting business. What business are YOU in?

Lots of businesses were represented here today and the message was right in front of them.
Do something hot or cool or edgy or fun or remarkable and the marketplace will notice and write you bigger checks. Or at least try to.
