The Power of Association

I'm here (again) to help celebrate the annual convention of the Carolinas Independent Auto Dealer Association. CIADA has become the largest member organization of its kind in the nation and has increased its membership from around 700 members just a few years ago...to almost 3000 members!
How's that possible? Especially at a time when most "member" organization from Chambers to churches are on the decline in membership? Pretty simple really. I've worked with Jim Edwards and this organization during that time and a few basic fundamentals have worked wonders for this association. Growth and retention? It's available. But not in the same old way most associations approach it today. Do something BIG! Ask better questions and go to work on the answers.
